Your data and the Crany waitlist.
This notice covers the Crany waitlist operated by Tangenix. Updated 8 October 2026.
What we collect
Your email and signup date, referral relationships, and any answers you choose to submit for Founding Beta. We store a hashed network identifier to limit abuse and flag suspicious referrals. Hosting providers may also retain request logs under their own policies.
Why we use it
To manage early access, track referral priority, review beta applications, protect the service, and contact you about Crany access. Joining does not guarantee beta acceptance.
Storage and access
Waitlist information is stored in Supabase and is accessible to the Crany team for operating the waitlist. Public referral links do not reveal your email or application answers. We do not sell waitlist data. Vercel hosts the website. Resend processes your email address to deliver signup and application confirmations and manage access-update subscriptions. Cloudflare manages our domain DNS.
Your browser session
An essential, HttpOnly cookie lets this browser display your referral link and application status for up to 90 days. Clearing the cookie removes this browser’s access to that status, but does not delete your waitlist entry. This version has no cross-device sign-in.
Analytics
With your permission, PostHog receives anonymous page visits, button interactions, visible and active time, scroll depth, device information, campaign attribution, performance, signup, referral, and application events. An anonymous browser identifier supports visitor and session metrics. We do not send your email, application answers, full query strings, or session recordings. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your preference is stored in this browser; you can change it through Privacy choices. Declining analytics does not affect the waitlist. Access-update emails include unsubscribe preferences; previous opt-outs are respected.
Your choices
Sharing and beta applications are optional. You can request removal or correction by replying to a Crany access email or emailing tanmay.bawkar@gmail.com. We keep waitlist information while operating early access, unless you request removal.
