Crany terms.
These terms govern the Crany website, the early-access waitlist and the Crany app at app.crany.ai during its private beta, all operated by Tangenix (“Tangenix,” “we,” “us”). Updated 16 October 2026. By joining the waitlist or using the site or the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. You must be at least 18 years old.
The waitlist
Joining is free and requires no payment. Joining does not guarantee access, a place in Founding Beta, or any launch date, feature or price. Referral priority and beta decisions are made at our discretion, and we may change or end the waitlist or early access at any time. Crany is still being built; anything shown on the site may change.
Founding Beta offer
Founders selected for Founding Beta will get 30% off their first 12 months of a paid plan. Pricing is TBD. Applying is optional. Every application is reviewed by the team. Not everyone will be selected.
Offer terms are TBD: eligibility, what “paid plan” means, the discount start date, and whether it stacks with other offers.
The Crany app (private beta)
Beta access is free, by invitation only, and personal to the email we invited. Do not share your access. The app is unfinished: features, limits and results will change, things will break, and we may pause or end the beta, or your access, at any time. Daily limits apply, such as one live search per product per day plus one daily scan.
Crany finds public posts and drafts replies with AI. Drafts can be wrong, off-tone or unsuitable. You decide what to post, and you post it yourself from your own accounts, so you are responsible for what you publish. Follow the rules of each platform and community, do not use Crany to spam, harass, mislead or mass-message people, and respect any limits the app shows you. Crany does not guarantee leads, replies, signups or sales.
You keep ownership of the product details you enter and the replies you post. You let us process them to run the service, as described in the privacy notice.
Your information
Give us accurate information, and only an email address you control. We will use it to manage access and send Crany access updates, which you can unsubscribe from at any time. How we handle your data is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
Referrals and fair use
Share your referral link honestly. Do not spam, create fake or duplicate signups, use bots or scripts, probe or disrupt the site, or try to access data that is not yours. We may remove entries and referral credit we believe are abusive, and may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
Use of the site
We give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to view the site for your personal use. You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse engineer or use the site to build a competing product. The site, the Crany name, logo, mascot and content belong to Tangenix or its suppliers; these terms transfer no ownership to you.
Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, including in beta applications or the app’s feedback form, you allow us to use them freely and without attribution or payment. Please do not send anything confidential.
Third-party services
The site relies on providers such as Vercel, Supabase, Resend, Cloudflare and, with your permission, PostHog. The app also relies on Clerk, Convex, OpenRouter and the AI model providers it routes to, Sentry, PostHog, and the search and data providers listed in the privacy notice. We are not responsible for third-party services or sites you reach through links.
Disclaimers
The site, waitlist and beta app are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, and do not promise the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tangenix is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or data, arising from the site, waitlist or beta app. Because they are free, our total liability for any claim is limited to INR 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable costs of claims arising from your violation of these terms or applicable law through your use of the site.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the update. These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law where you live, the courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the site or these terms.
