An AI marketing co-founder for vibe coders

An AI marketing co-founder helps run the marketing loop: understand your product and customers, decide what to try, execute the approved work, and improve the next attempt using results. For vibe coders who can ship an app but struggle to reach users, its value is in work completed and lessons applied.

Crany.ai is being built for that role. It strategizes, executes your marketing and improves based on the results while you keep building. It is in development by Tangenix, with early access through a waitlist. Public launch date, pricing and the final integration set have not been announced.

What should the co-founder actually deliver?

Judge the workflow by a sequence you can inspect. The output of one stage should become the input of the next, so the product does not forget why it ran a campaign or what happened.

A practical evaluation standard, not a claim of current Crany availability

Execution means a finished action

A proposed campaign is useful preparation. A completed campaign has an asset, an approved destination and evidence that the action happened. Ask what the system will actually do in the account you connect: publish a post, update a page, deliver an approved campaign or complete another specific task. The available action depends on the product and integration.

Keep approval controls for claims, brand voice, publishing and spend. Decide those boundaries before the first run. If a connection fails, the workflow should say which action failed and preserve the work for review.

An example: market a receipt-export app

Imagine a founder with an expense app for freelance designers. The first experiment shows how receipt photos become an accountant-ready export. The founder supplies real screenshots and approves the wording. A complete workflow produces a short demo, publishes it in an allowed channel and returns the live link.

At the review, the founder records visits, signups and completed exports, plus questions from prospective users. If signups stall at receipt import, the next experiment may need a clearer setup demonstration. If the offer attracts the wrong audience, revise the targeting first. This is an illustrative workflow; it describes no customer, measured result or live Crany campaign.

Ask for this demonstration before relying on any product

  1. Give it your real product and ask it to restate what the app can and cannot do.
  2. Ask it to choose an experiment from customer evidence you can inspect.
  3. Review its assets and specify exactly what it may publish or spend.
  4. Observe one approved action complete and inspect the destination.
  5. Supply the results, including unsuccessful outcomes, and inspect the next decision.

If a vendor says it remembers context, ask it to explain a past experiment. If it says it executes, ask for a completed action. If it says it improves, ask which result changed the next brief. A single demo proves only the workflow you observed.

Does this replace every marketing tool?

A co-founder workflow can use writing, design, publishing and analytics tools. The important question is how their actions connect. General AI products can also complete work using connected tools; a role label alone does not establish a capability advantage. Compare the tasks, permissions and outcome review in your actual setup.

Our AI marketing tools comparison links to current vendor documentation and includes an evaluation checklist. Our guide to marketing your app using AI gives you a campaign brief and a seven-day work schedule.
