When to use this template
Use this after an agreed creator placement has run and both sides can supply the reporting needed for a limited, factual review.
Choose another approach when: You have not agreed on deliverables or permission to use creator material, want to imply a creator endorsed you without consent, or lack a truthful product offer.
Gather these inputs
- The agreed placement, disclosure requirements and publication date.
- Reported reach and engagement with their source and date.
- Your tagged destination traffic and predefined product outcome.

Worked example
Illustrative example, not a Crany customer result. Replace every example detail with facts you can verify.
A fictional design-workflow creator publishes one sponsored walkthrough of a review-board task. The agreed brief requires disclosure and an accurate screen recording. The scorecard records the live video URL and the tagged link in its description. Creator-reported views are kept in one column; site-measured visits and completed test boards are kept in another. The team does not divide signups by video views and call that a precise conversion rate, because the populations and observation windows differ. The next brief changes the opening demonstration only after watching where viewers appeared confused.
How to use it
- Check that the placement actually matches the agreed truthful brief.
- Collect creator reporting and first-party outcomes with explicit windows.
- Discuss differences between reach and useful product activity before agreeing to another placement.
Check before using it
- Sponsorship and any material relationship are disclosed according to applicable rules.
- Creator-reported metrics are labeled rather than presented as independently audited.
- The campaign does not promise a fixed number of customers.
What to measure
Assess qualified visits and useful product outcomes alongside cost and audience fit. Tagged links provide one observation channel; they do not capture every person influenced by a creator or establish causal lift.
Research and sources
Google supports campaign labeling, and YouTube describes distinct appeal, engagement and satisfaction signals. The scorecard is an original synthesis, not a vendor attribution model or legal disclosure checklist.
