When to use this template
Use this when a genuine trial is still active and the account’s next access or billing state can be verified at the time of sending.
Choose another approach when: The trial has already changed or ended, you cannot verify the next charge, or the message would pressure a person with an invented deadline.
Gather these inputs
- Current trial status and precise transition time.
- The actual post-trial access and billing outcome.
- Working account, choice/cancellation and support routes appropriate to that setup.

Worked example
Illustrative example, not a Crany customer result. Replace every example detail with facts you can verify.
A fictional Handoff Notes trial ends on 1 November at 18:00 UTC and requires an explicit plan choice to continue editing. The reminder states that fact and links to the real account choices. It does not claim an automatic charge when none exists. If the account had already upgraded or canceled, the reminder would be suppressed. Any statement about retaining access or exporting work must be checked against actual product behavior; the template does not invent a safe data-retention promise to make the deadline less concerning.
How to use it
- Confirm the current trial and configured transition rather than relying on an old signup date.
- Describe the real deadline, effect and available choices without pressure language.
- Verify links and suppression for upgraded, canceled or otherwise changed accounts.
Check before using it
- Dates include a timezone and match the actual account state.
- Price or charge statements are supported by the configured terms.
- The reminder does not imply that a provider trigger alone proves the email was sent or received.
What to measure
Track accurate eligible sends and verified account-management access. A reminder can clarify a transition, but it does not guarantee conversion or certify applicable billing-notice requirements.

Stripe documents configurable trial transitions and reminder-related events. The original reminder wording does not prescribe a universal sending interval or assume a particular Stripe integration.
