Homepage FAQ Research Template
Build useful product questions from real uncertainty, verified answers and a record of where each answer belongs on the page.
When to use this template
Use this when an FAQ repeats marketing slogans while people still ask basic questions about availability, workflow, support or limits.
Choose another approach when: You plan to invent customer questions as social proof, hide important conditions in collapsed content, or add FAQ markup for answers that are not visible.
Gather these inputs
- Actual questions from research, support or relevant public discussions.
- Verified answers from the product and policy owners.
- The page sections where important conditions should already be explained.
Copy and adapt the template
Edit the text below and copy it into your own document. Edits stay in this browser field and are not submitted or saved by this page.
Worked example
Illustrative example, not a Crany customer result. Replace every example detail with facts you can verify.
Question: “Does joining the list let me use the app today?” Answer for a fictional prelaunch product: “No. The public waitlist records interest; app access has not launched.” Because this affects the main offer, the same condition belongs beside the primary action, not only in the FAQ. Another question about private client records must be answered from the actual privacy and product behavior, not a reassuring sentence invented by the copywriter. This inventory prioritizes useful certainty and honest limits rather than collecting every possible keyword variation.
How to use it
- Collect real questions and separate them from internally invented slogans.
- Verify each answer with the relevant product or policy evidence.
- Place critical conditions in the main journey and keep any FAQ/schema representation consistent with visible text.
Check before using it
- No unverified security, privacy or availability assurance is added.
- The answer directly resolves the stated question.
- Any structured data reflects the actual visible answer and does not imply rich-result eligibility.
What to measure
Track repeated unresolved questions and whether visitors can find the relevant answer. A larger FAQ count is not automatically better, and markup alone does not establish search visibility.
Research and sources
The sources support learning users’ actual questions and publishing accurate useful answers. This inventory is an original editorial process; it is not a claim that FAQ rich results are available for every site.
